I got a job at a state warehouse and stayed till retirement
The pay was dismal but the job was only 8 miles from home and the drive there and back was only twenty minutes. The fellow employees were cool folks and even though I could have made a larger salary somewhere else I chose to stick with this job because I didn't want to get hired and then fired like I had seen happen to so many other people. I could stay there so there I stayed. money isn't everything. The company had ok Insurance and that alone was worth staying for.

If it doesnt ** you off too much and the commute isnt a nightmare you might as well stay, especially if the job is secure. I hate commuting, and the best job I ever had was a 10 minute bike ride away, sadly it was only temping but if they had let me stay I would still be there now.
I had problems in school and didn't go to college. I barely graduated High School so I knew I wouldn't be getting a high paying job. I found a place to go that wanted to keep me so there I stayed. I have a few physical handicaps as well so I did good to be able to work anywhere.
