Work fax machine mistake humiliates me into quitting.
Work at a hospital in security. The fax machine behind the Registration desk in the Emergency Department is setup as the printer for our station.
Dealing with some medical conditions, medication side effects, and an unsuccessful dating life. I printed off some medical documentation from my online portal. I went and got them without issue. Somehow, they printed again later. Still don't understand how.
The registration girls, mostly around my age, a few I had semi-interest in, and a couple female coworkers from my department were all quietly laughing and huddled looking at something when I returned later. Then they went red faced and gave it to me and scattered. Silence, giggles, embarrassed looks, spread to so many in the hospital over the next few days until I left.
I had been struggling with low T, Gynecomastia (**), and no body or facial hair due to some medication side-effects and a condition I have of undescended testes. I had some questions and confidence issues, so I went to go and get things officially checked out, and it was close to the line, but I was diagnosed officially with a micropenis.
I also like to wear women's underwear, which I told the doctor about, and asked for a referral to a psychiatrist to discuss gender identity related questions, just to learn more and understand, which was all also noted on one of the pages.
