If the moderators of this site are Republican and Trump supporters my confession will probably be deleted but I'm going to post it anyway because it needs to be said the Trumptards aren't going to like it.
Donald Trump is an idiot. He should have been immediately removed from office the day of the January 6, 2021 riots and jailed for insurrection and treason.
Donald Trump on Monday pardoned more than 1,000 people charged in the attack on the U.S. Capitol, and commuted the sentences of leaders of the Proud Boys and Oath Keepers.
"These are the hostages,"he said, referring to the convicted and charged defendants. "Approximately 1,500 for a pardon-fill pardon."
The commutations cover the sentences for 14 far-right extremists from the Oath Keepers and Proud Boys who were convicted or charged with seditious conspiracy.
With the pardons, Trump has granted full clemency to hundreds of people already convicted of crimes like assaulting police and destroying property ad part of the effort to disrupt the peaceful transfer of power.
The "full, complete and unconstitutional" pardons extend to people who were convicted of some of the worst crimes committed the day of the Capitol attack.
That group includes individuals like Julian Khater, who assaulted US Capitol Police officer Brian Sicknick and later pled guilty to assaulting officers with a dangerous weapon, Devlyn Thompson, who hit a police officer with a metal baton, and Robert Palmer, who attacked police with a fire extinguisher, a wooden plank and a pole.
More than 140 police officers were injured during the seven hour siege, which also led directly to the deaths of four Trump supporters in the mob and five police officers.
About 55% of January 6 prosecutions are misdemeanor cases, with charges like disorderly conduct or trespassing according to Justice Department data.
Some defendants are elderly people who got caught up in the frenzy. Others went inside the Capitol for a handful of minutes but never attacked anyone or vandalized anything. Most have no criminal record. .
Yet, and this is what I call atrocious., Trump has called January 6 "a day of love and peace" and claimed his supporters posed "zero threat". These false claims are belied by hundreds of video clips of Trump supporters beating police with flagpoles, batons, wooden clubs, and baseball bats, deploying stun guns and chemical sprays, and engaging in hand-to-hand combats with police officers.

We, as a nation, HAVE TO take responsibility for electing our first convicted felon as our nation's president.

The FBI has CONFIRMED they had many agent provocateurs on scene; they brought in several bus loads of Antifa and BLM. The FBI planned and executed the events. Old men and old women walking peacefully thru the Capitol while chatting with friendly Capitol police is not an insurrection.
The courts are corrupt, very corrupt. A 'conviction' is easily had despite the facts. Lots of innocent people are in prison and lots of guilty are walking free. No police died that day and you have been fed propaganda which you willing engorge yourself on. The only death was caused by a Black cop who has a history of incompetence and reprimands.
Take a look at all the videos, hundreds of hours, which have finally been released. Watch the buses being brought in as the crowd boos, because the buses carried Antifa. It was all planned, as are nearly ALL things in politics and yet the public continues to be duped, election after election, despite who wins.
What have ANY politicians ever done for the average person? NOTHING!
