Reincarnation

Anybody believe in it and have real stories to share? I don't have anything personally, but if I had to guess, I wonder if I was in the Vietnam war. I have an affinity to the music of the time period, almost to the point of feeling some kind of 2nd hand nostalgia sometimes. I'm drawn to Vietnam war movies (not other wars so much) and I've always been very antiwar.. Especially wars built on lies. I was born in the late 70's.

Who knows?

    • Numbers just do not add up. this far, there has been about 110 billion of our species living on our planet. Now we are about 9 billion units. Question : whatever happened to that missing 100 billion beings ? Not incarnated ? Rendered buddhas ? reincarnated as ants ?? The numbers simply do not add up. There is no reincarnation. You live, you die. and that's that. Reincarnation, God, etc. are all concepts. Pacifiers given to the cowards who refuse to face the stark reality - that we live and then we DIE.

    • What you posed can be explained very easily. We (human souls) don't come back as lower forms of life, coming back is optional (but encouraged, according to the stories), and one can ascend to the point where they no longer come back. Thinking about it by the numbers doesn't mean anything because we don't know how many souls exists across how many forms of existing. But it's rational to not believe because of lack of proof, but lack of proof doesn't mean that what you say is the absolute truth. We're probably toddlers with regard to knowing everything there is to know at this point in human history. Let's not lose sight of that just because we have internet and self driving cars. Neither here nor there, but I do have many accounts from family and friends that seems to show that life continues after death, even a few odd stories myself.

    • Many stories of reincarnation on YouTube. It was in the Bible until the Catholic church removed it long ago.

    • What's even more intriguing is reading the comments on those videos. It seems waaay more common for people to have those accounts than society acknowledges.

    • I think I used to be a ** in New Orleans, late 1800s.
