I was jury foreman hearing a ** abuse case
This little boy about six or seven was in school and the teacher noticed that he was sick. Going to the school nurse he had a high fever and a very raw looking throat. At the hospital it was discovered he had gonnorreah of the throat.
His mothers live in boyfriend was arrested and tired by me and the other jurors. I was the foreman of the jury and I wanted the guy to serve the most years in prison that a crime of this nature could get him. We convicted him of aggravated sexually assault ending in injury and the judge was outraged at the man.
He was sentenced to fifteen years incarceration and ordered out of the county upon release.
This was back in 1979 and I often wondered if he even made it out of prison alive and if had been released who would hire his sorry **?
