You should be doing thses things because YOU want to and it's the type of person that YOU want to be. Not for gratitude. You'll be happier that way.
I am exactly like you! can people be nice please!!!!! i even say sorry when someone rudely walk into me, and then walk away. its like good lawdy!
I hear you. You are not alone, I do the same thing. In fact it seems like I am the one that is always moving out of the way of people when we are walking in a store or mall. WTH?? People are rude, but ** them. I am the way I am, and I will continue to hold doors etc. believe it or not it rubs off on them at one point or another.
