The Man In The Sea.
Today, I saw a man walk onto the beach, and paddle away on a surfboard, despite the dangerously foggy weather and cold temperature. He kept going farther and farther out into the ocean until I couldn't even see him anymore. He was swallowed by the mist completely.
5 hours later, his car was still parked in the same spot, with both windows rolled down, and he was nowehere to be seen.
I was the only other person on the beach today and I worry that I might have been the last person to see him alive.
