Yes, I’ve been to New York but live in London and definitely agree skirt lengths are very very short in London too! Shorter the better it seems at the moment!! I don’t wear knickers and love a micro mini - eg am having a coffee now in town wearing an ultra short denim mini skirt now and no knickers and seen at least two girls with just as short skirts on already! Sally x
You should see some of the skirts that I wear. They are micro in the extreme. Most of the time I wear them with nothing underneath, giving people wonderful views.

I also live in England. It is now becoming ever more common for girls to stop wearing knickers (**) under their skirts. I wear nice short skirts and no knickers all of the time, and have done so for the last four years. In fact I have thrown away all of my knickers. I don't ever want to wear them again.

In part because it isn't cold and rainly like the UK all the the time but having been to Newcastle UK I can't imagine skirts any shorter than that. They all dress like hookers.
