I wish I was a boy
I'm an 18 year old girl and I wish I was born a male. I hate being a girl. I hate having **, long hair, big hips and small waist. And btw, I'm not a lesbian if that's what you were thinking. I'm straight. Just because I want to be a boy doesn't mean I'm a lesbian. It seems to me that guys have it easier in life. They don't have periods. They don't have to worry about pregnancy. They're superior. I feel like I should've been born a gay male. That's who I am on the inside.
"** envy" is **. Don't listen to people who throw around terms like that. They're just trying to make you feel bad.
It sounds like you might be transgender. That pretty much means your personal gender identity doesn't match the body you were born with. It's very real, and actually a lot more common than you might think. My girlfriend is transgender, and I'm an activist for transgender rights, so I meet LOTS of people like you all the time. Believe me, you're not alone.
I've met many people who think being transgender isn't real, that it's a phase, or that it's something people do for attention or to act out their ** sexual orientations. That's just not true. If you met my girlfriend, you'd see--she's genetically male, but you talk to her for two minutes and you KNOW she's a woman inside. Oh, and did I mention that we're lesbians? She's not just some gay boy that is really into girly things. She's not into men at all. She's just a girl. Plain and simple.
Check out online support forums for transgender and genderqueer people. I'm sure you'll be able to find people who can help you make sense of what you're going through.
"** envy" isn't **. "Transgender" is. We are genetically male or female. If you're not acting like the ** you were assigned, unless there is some rare genetic or hormonal disorder, than your "girlfriend" is a **. People like you make the young people of today more screwed up then they have to be. There is no such thing as "transgender" just confussion.
Wow, who are you? My dad? I'm transgender and no, it's not a phase, I'm not confused.
