  • Fake it until you are grown and move out. It will make your teen years a bit easier if you parents don't know the truth about your lack of belief.

  • I think you should tell your family what you believe in.

Or will they most likely shut down your opinion?

  • THE BIBLE GIVES YOU WHAT YOU WANT BECAUSE YOUR F****** LAZY IT OFFERS YOU HOPE IT DOES YOUR WORK AND IT MAKES YOU FEEL LOVED WELL GET THIS THROUGH YOUR HEAD YOU HAVE TO WORK.

  • What did you think God would do all the work for you?
Of course you have to work to get what you want s*******.

  • First, do you pray? It's normal for a person to have doubts about their faith. You have to really spend some time and think about exactly why you are starting to not believe. Is it because God has given you some cross for you to bear and it seems easier to just say forget this I'm going to do what I want without the fear of consequences in this life and the next?

When you were baptized, you received the Holy Spirit and the gift of faith. But, before you receive your First Holy Communion, you need to really prepare yourself to receive the Body and Blood of Jesus.

The seeds of faith have been planted in your heart. Through the grace of God, you have to allow those seeds to grow and mature. Do you pray daily? A catholic should have been taught to pray daily and often. Visit the Blessed Sacrament, go to mass at least every sunday. Just sit and pray in the church before the Blessed Sacrament. Open your heart to Jesus. If you do not ask, you will not receive. Pray your rosary as well, asking for Mary's help and prayers.

First Holy Communion and Confirmation are important moments in a Catholic's life. Talk to a practicing adult Catholic whom you trust, probably not your parents since they may just overreact and pressure you. This is what godparents are for. But, it's important that you talk to a practicing catholic.

I will keep you in my prayers! Be happy! You are about to receive the Body and Blood of Jesus - who will nurish your soul with abundant graces.
