One step forward, two steps back...

Today I found a package of unopened razor blade, and I was sorely tempted to take one. I didn't, though, and I was so proud of my self. Taking baby steps like that is big progress when you're trying to stop cutting. I still had the thought, but did not act on it.... Until later this evening, when I locked myself in the bathroom and (this will sound strange, but it gives more precision and control) cut myself with a needle.

  • Just be glad you didn't go one step forward, two steps back, AND nine steps sideways.

  • Needles hurt worse, and they can get infected easier. Also, the scars as harsher.
I've been a cutter for 6 years. It's an awful thing, I know what you're going through.
Recently, i tried to quit. I was strong for about a month, went I couldb't handle it anymore.
But I respect you for trying.
