One step forward, two steps back...
Today I found a package of unopened razor blade, and I was sorely tempted to take one. I didn't, though, and I was so proud of my self. Taking baby steps like that is big progress when you're trying to stop cutting. I still had the thought, but did not act on it.... Until later this evening, when I locked myself in the bathroom and (this will sound strange, but it gives more precision and control) cut myself with a needle.
Just be glad you didn't go one step forward, two steps back, AND nine steps sideways.
Needles hurt worse, and they can get infected easier. Also, the scars as harsher.
I've been a cutter for 6 years. It's an awful thing, I know what you're going through.
Recently, i tried to quit. I was strong for about a month, went I couldb't handle it anymore.
But I respect you for trying.
