Disney

That I applied for an internship at DisneyWorld and I haven't told my parents. I haven't received a response from Disney, yet. I'm waiting to hear back from them. If it's a yes, I'm going, but it's so far away from home... I'm scared they will be mad that i didn't discuss it with them, but I've been in college for a few years so I'm an adult now. We'll see what happens!

    • It will be hard work, but keep your ** together while there.Stay out of situations that could lead to those "Oh **" moments. Watch your back and depend on yourself and no one else. Trust only yourself. Live very meager and save (at a bank) as much as you can. Buy stuff at the dollar store or Freds they have cheap deals on food and makes your dollars go further. Don't have expensive electronics at your abode, as those will disappear via burglaries.
      Good luck Child.

    • I hear it's a terribly brutal place to work with low pay. That aside, parents sometimes hold you back from doing things that are in your best interest as an adult. It probably isn't really their concern.

    • Good luck! I hear it's a really great place to work. And when you're a student, it's a good time to sign up for internships. Network!!!
