Drinking Before Work
After having a really bad day at work yesterday, I plan on having a few sips of the good stuff before I go back to work on Monday. Not enough to get me drunk, but enough to not make me feel like a loser who doesn't know what the ** I'm doing.
I used to ride-share with a woman who'd do this at times. We'd pull into the office building parking lot, and she'd reach into her purse for a small bottle or leather-covered flask. Would only take a shot or two, but did it almost daily. It was in the morning, so, I never worried about driving home if she drove that week.
We ended up messing around a bit, and in a hotel room, I finally asked her..What's with the morning booze? She only said really liked it, and, helped with getting her morning off to a good start. I took it as just one of those things..Not much I could do about it.
Time for a career change.
