I am envious of women my age who are starting to settle down
I'm 23 years old, still young. I tell other people that I dont want to get married until I'm 30 but I actually envy girls my age who are being proposed to by their boyfriends. I have a boyfriend whom I love so much but I know that he doesnt love me enough to want to be married to me, and that breaks my heart.
Maybe you're just envious of the extravagance of proposals or weddings and not of getting married yourself?
Getting married is super DUPER overrated. My partner and I have been together for nearly half a decade, we are as good as married but the only difference between the two of us and a married couple is a piece of legal documentation that means nothing to us, and yet is EXTREMELY expensive and complicated to un-do if we ever decide to. So don't worry too much about signing that piece of paper. Also: ** having children. Enjoy your life for you. Don't follow the life script.

Do NOT rush. Getting married young is kinda trendy these days, I graduated 10 years ago and a large percentage of my class mates have been married and divorced... CHILL, i don't understand the rush with the younger people these days. Wait until you're 30 or a little younger. Have fun while you stil can, because after that it's just having kids and being exhausted every ** day of your life...
Don't compare yourself to other girls, everyone is on their own path. If you want to get married someday, you will. If you already know that the guy you're with is not the one or doesn't want to get married, then break it off today. It will be difficult and painful. You may have to be alone for a little bit; but you have to know when to walk away. Don't stay in a relationship when you know the outcome is not what you want. You will waste years of your life on the wrong person, don't let that happen.
