The other night, you kissed me goodnight. It was nothing really. It was just a drunken peck on the lips because that's where I pointed in my drunken stupor. But it was the first kiss I've ever had that I haven't been able to get out of my head. You're my friend and coworker and you're amazing and I love how your wit matches mine every second of the day. And now I'm afraid I won't be able to look you in the face...because I'll be picturing your lips on mine, and the love I'll never get from you because you're hers.
Just enjoy it as-is...My former business associate, and very good female friend and I kept things friendly, until one night at a function. We had free seafood and drinks, and she leaned over, very close to me, saying how good the mixed drink was, and "taste it..not from the glass", and we connected for a deep, hidden in the corner booth and out of view, kiss. Was about time, and, awesome. Told her I'd waited to do it, and she said the same..Knew we just had to try, we spend so much time together and have an obvious chemistry.. Most of the night, in between meeting boring people and exchanging useless business cards, we returned to each other for repeat performances, some longer than others.
When I dropped her off for her car, we continued until my windows were fogged up. Two days later, when we met up again for business stuff, we didn't speak much of it, other than "That was so nice the other night".
Relationships with co-workers always results in awkwardness, sadness or murder.
