In a relationship the most important thing is to be on the same page with your partner, so if that is really what you want right now, and he does not, you may want to consider ending the relationship. Have you talked to him about how you feel? I am asking because maybe it is just not the right time for him to have children, talk to him about your feelings, and be prepared for a heartbreak.
