I really need a good opinion

It may sound like im a whiny person but I'm not
I am struggling a lot with my studies. I study in med school in 4th year. I am having some some difficulties with some exams an it is possible to lose a year of school. The problem it is not this. It's how are my parents going to react when i will tell them. They are supportive but don't understand the difficulty of my school. I love my school but sometimes i find it hard. I am afraid of my father's reaction. And my mother tend to really care about others opinion
I come from a small town where we l know almost everyone and I'm afraid of letting people lnow about this thing. Trust me. It may seem simple for you but for me it is a very hard time I'm experiencing

  • I'm sure your dad just wants what's best for you..in his way. You will always be their child and no matter how old you get, you will always want their approval. But you also have to know you are an adult now and have to make decisions that are best for you. You know best what you are capable of what is realistic for you to get the work done. Telling (not asking)...Telling. There is a difference. You have made a thoughtful decision. And explain to them, that school is going to take one more semester than anticipated. You are not quitting school, you are just making a choice to make your school load more tolerable and so that you can pass your classes. You're really close!! Hang in there. Something that may also help, go and speak to your advisors and counselors about what's happening what they suggest? What are your options? Can you drop a class now and extend into next semester. Don't worry about what other's think or say.. live your life. You can't take care of others until you can take care of you. Because if you don't take care of you, who will? You are what matters most. Your parents and everyone will get over it. You'll be a doctor, it's just going to take a little longer than expected.

  • You've already achieved a lot by reaching the fourth year in med school. Now tell the truth and face the consequences. It's not as bad as you think. So you have to repeat the fourth year. Nobody will care after you become a doctor. If anything, you'll be the favorite in every party because 80% of the party goers will ask you for advice. Think ahead. You've done good and will continue to do so.

  • Just calm down and just think about pushing through and making it. School is hard and I know at times when it's stressing me out, I feel as if I'm not good enough but you'll make it
