A young German woman complained about having WW2 tossed at her
I told her to get used to it. Even though the war happened before she was born she will have to hear about the war as she travels in Europe and America. I told her I knew that because even though the American Civil War was over one hundred and fifty-one years ago southeasterners still have the war tossed in their face.
I think she has a point. She didn't even exist when all that ** was happening. She shouldn't be punished for it. Same goes for the southerners.
I agree
I agree too, except those southerners who are actively trying to bring back pre-Civil War attitudes. Of course that isn't all of them by any means, but those who do try (especially the politicians) deserve every ounce of shade thrown at them.
