I broke up with my ex 10 years ago. She was my first love. Still think of her most every day. She's married now with kids but wish her husband would leave her or die or something and I would take her back in a minute.

You would take her back doesn't mean she would take you back. 10 years is a long time to hold a torch for someone who has clearly moved on. You should too. Maybe see a therapist to figure out why you're stuck in the past.
Grow up, accept and move on. Why didn't you get her when you had the chance?
