Justifiable or Just an **
I met my wife several years ago when the law firm she works for represented the company I worked for. Even though she's 9 years older than me, we hit it off and were married a year later. Not long after we married she confessed to having ** with one of the clients that she went to see. She had been at their location for a week and had ** with him almost every night. After some time I forgave her and we moved on. As far as I know she has never done anything like that again. That was several years ago.
A few months ago we received an invite to a wedding for some friends of ours; we marked the date on the calendar and planned on attending. A couple weeks before the wedding my wife received a notice that one of the law firms client had a reschedule on their court date and it had moved to the Friday before out friends wedding. She was not very happy as this required her to travel and miss the wedding.
She left the Monday prior, but not before visiting with her daughter who was in town for the wedding. I'll call her daughter Alexa for sack of this story. My wife has one child and I have none. She had Alexa when she was 17, so I'm actually closer in age to her than my wife. Although not by much. Alexa lives 3 hours from us and when she comes to visit, naturally she stays with us at our house. This time was no different and she showed up on Monday in time to spend a few hours visiting. The rest of the week was pretty normal, nothing too exciting. Then came Saturday and the day of the wedding. I called my wife hoping to hear she was done and would be home in a few hours, but no such luck. So Alexa and I headed out to the wedding. The night was pretty normal with the usual drinking and whatnot. Later that night Alexa and I were pretty drunk so we caught a ride home. We joked and laughed as we made our way into the house. We were in the kitchen when I decided I needed a drink, so I made my way to the cupboard for a glass. Alexa came up and used her hip to push me out of the way. She laughed and said "you can't have a drink". Jokingly I grabbed her by the hips and tried to pull her away. She laughed and said "no, no". I then pulled her hips into mine with my pelvis right up against her **. I said in a joking tone, "if you don't move I may be forced to ** you". I figured this would shock her and she would move, but she didn't. Instead she upped the anti and in a seductive voice said "go ahead". I decided to call her bluff; so I reached around and unbuttoned her jeans pulling down the zipper. I figured surely she'd move now, but she didn't. Still figuring on calling her bluff I grabbed her jeans and pulled them down. I expected for her to have ** on, but to my surprise she wasn't wearing any. She kicked her jeans off and then softly said "now what are you going to do?" as she bent back over the counter. Still telling myself that she was bluffing, I reached up and started rubbing her **, then her **, and then slipped a couple fingers up inside her. She arched her back and let out several moans as I moved in closer. My ** was so hard that I couldn't resist, I quickly took off my jeans and started rubbing my ** on her **. The next day was like nothing had ever happened. My wife returned home and she asked how the wedding went. Alexa told her about the drinking and the dancing, and how pretty the brides dress was. Then my wife asked if we had a good time, and with out hesitation we both said "OH yes". Alexa finally left for home later that evening and I haven't talked to her since. That has been several weeks ago, but that's not unusual for us to go that long without talking.
I feel bad about ** around on my wife, but Alexa is right. She did ** around on me first, so I guess that kind of makes it even. I know she is my stepdaughter, but I didn't raise her and we've never actually lived together. So she's not like a daughter at all to me. You can say I'm an ** hole because I don't plan on telling my wife, but I only had drunken ** once, where she had a week long ** fling with one of her clients. The real question I guess is would I ever do it again? And I'm pretty sure the answer is NO. I'm not even really sure how or why it happened this time.
So is it justifiable or am I just an ** hole?
Well heres the thing while you are correct she did do it so it does make you even. I think you are an ** because at least she had the ** to tell you she cheated. Do i think you are completly in the wrong no but if you justify what you did by comparing to what she did she had ** with 1 guy for a week and told you about it whats the difference if its a week vs one time. you had ** with a girl who your twice her age is your step daughter and your not even going to tell your wife she actually seems to have the moral high ground on this one.
If you can sleep at night knowing you ** her daughter than you have justified it to yourself that's all that really matters. I will say your wife will never forgive you or her daughter if she ever finds out. This is a slippery slope you are on, you should quit now before it all crashes down on you.
OP here and just to give an update, I did end up talking to my stepdaughter. She told me that it would never happen again and that it shouldn't have happened the first time. I agreed and we let things go. A couple days later my wife told me she has a business trip to go on next month. Unlike her other trips, this one will be overseas and she'll be gone for probably two months. Yes, I was ** and whining, but I asked her what the ** I'm supposed to do for two months by myself trying to maintain the house and everything. She told me not to worry and that she'd ask her daughter to come stay and help out while she was gone. I keep telling myself nothing will happen, but I will be here alone with her for two months. This may be interesting.
I would invite the daughter to go fishing for a week, tell the wife you are going with some friends from work. Then spend the week banging her silly.
Man if your stepdaughter wants to ** then you need to go tap that **. Your wife don't give a ** about you and she's probably still ** her clients. Stepdaughter probably has a better ** anyway.

I'm more surprised the wife hasn't been struck off the roll for having relations with a client. Big no-no in the legal world.
Ha, my ex wife was ** her lawyer during our divorce and no body did a ** thing about it. My lawyer told me it's hard to prove, so just let it go.
You can always make a complaint to the relevant ethics board - one must be a 'fit and proper person' to be a lawyer, ** ones client really doesn't fit the bill.
"Justifiable" is hard to say since it's your wife's decision on whether it makes you even. Yes she cheated first but she could make a case that the ** is "closer to home" with it being her daughter. Either way, I'd probably keep it a secret and let it lie.
