I got bullied in high school, big kid, had me by at least 80 pounds. It got so bad I complained to a friend of mine, who told me to just belt him in the nose. I was afraid to, and said if I did that, he would probably kill me.
He laughed and said nope, he wouldn't.
So, one day in town sure enough there he was with his gang and began pushing on me, calling me names.
So, I hauled back and belted him in the nose as hard as I could.
He fell down, his nose bleeding, they all looked at me in shock. Then, he cried!
Now, I am the bully.
