She divorced my dad when I was about 10. A couple years later, I found out she was seeing another man (I think he was married). I would get her phone and read their texts. Why do you think it would ruin your relationship with your mother? Intimacy can strengthen bonds, especially between a mother and son. I've made love to my mother many times and I see nothing wrong with it.
