stereotype.

i wish people understood that cutting is not always an 'emo' kid crying for attention. for me, inflicting pain on myself was sometimes the only sense of control i had. when everything around me was crazy and confusing and felt like it was spinning out of control, seeing the blood and feeling the pain was the only thing that seemed to slow it down.

  • or that you don't want to burden others with your troubles, a******.

  • Well I never thought cutting was for emo kids that cry for attention; any person can be a cutter, just as any person can be good at hiding it. It isn't a "cry for attention" but more like a quiet plea for help. If you cut, ask for help. There are healthier ways to alleviate your emotional distress.
