My secret history
My birth was met with disdain within my nuclear family. I was born male, when they expected a female offspring.
My position in the family was tentative at best, leaving me very bitter. I held back knowledge of the neglect/contempt I endured, even for those members who oppressed me and I paid a high emotional price for my silence.
My moral/spiritual learning prohibited me from divulging the truth.
