My mom used to work as a ** star

When I turned 15, I was finally allowed to ask my mom who my sister's dad was. She was 2 years older than me but was half Korean (my mom's side) and half French. I was half Korean and half Ukrainian. If you saw us, you could tell we had different dads. My dad was a calm and gentle man, but I knew he and my mom had only gotten married a year after I was born.
My mom explained that my sister already knew, and I was old enough to finally learn about it all. My mom used to be a ** star. She said she worked in the industry since she was 16 (she lied about her age, and everyone thought she was 18). Her mom and dad (my grandparents) were pretty strict, and she rebelled against them by entering into ** (which explained why I have never met my grandparents yet). She had ** with men and women in literally thousands of videos and shoots until she got pregnant by one of the guys in a **. She has her suspicions of who, but not quite as there were a few French guys in the mix. She was greatly encouraged to abort my sister, but the pregnancy changed her life. She got help from a few friends and moved to another state and had my sister. Not long after, she met my dad while she was engaged to a girl. Her relationship fell through with her fiancé and my dad was there to comfort her. They started dating shortly after and got pregnant with me and married a year later.
It has been 20 years since she quit ** (I am 20 now- she told me when I was 15) and she doesn't regret it, nor does she regret having worked in **.
I know what name she went by back then and have only ever watched a few videos out of curiosity especially when I was exploring my own sexuality (I am bi), but I could never stomach watching or seeing my mom have ** with other men and women.
A few of my guy friends and one of my lesbian friends recognized her and were thankfully respectful enough about it, but for the most part people don't recognize her these days which is good. It's drama I just don't care for as I did have to deal with a creep one time about it. She is my mom, and I am proud of her for the sacrifice she made to raise my sister and me. We don't choose who our parents are or what they used to do, but as long as they raised us well and love us, honestly, what does it matter? Now that I know, it has only made me admire and respect her more.
