My affair

I never expected the affair to happen after all this time, but it has, and it has been going well.
Back in 2018 I met a beautiful Chinese girl (I'll call her Mei here) via LinkedIn of all places. She and I were both artists and she was trying to reach out to a fellow artist in the Peninsula (of the Bay Area). We met up in downtown Mountain View for lunch and I was shocked by how open and vulnerable she was with me. At one point she was starting to cry because she missed her mom who was back in China. She took my hand across the table as I comforted her. I walked her to the Mountain View Caltrain station afterwards and because it was a bit chilly and windy while waiting for her train, I hugged her and held her close to keep her warm (she just had a light coat) and she snuggled tight against my chest. Her train arrived and she headed back to her apartment in SF.
Both of us were married. She was married to another Chinese guy working at a tech firm near Google and I was married to a Chinese woman and had a 6 month old daughter. I wasn't looking for an affair, but Mei stunned me and I truly started to ** after her. Mei and my friendship grew and we spent a few lunches together. She never turned me down when I put my arm around her or holding hands while walking around Castro Street in Mountain View. We talked about life and even ** with our spouses quite candidly. When I drove her back to SF one day I admitted I wanted to have ** with her. She unfortunately turned me down then. She was concerned that it would hurt my marriage and that she viewed me as "an older brother" (she was a year younger than me at the time and was 30).
Our friendship continued, but mostly online at that point. I never brought up wanting to have ** with her again as I felt that ship had sailed. Mei moved down to Mountain View with her husband (I'll call him Tim here) in 2019 and I moved with my wife and daughter to the East Bay in Fremont. We still kept in touch via IG and Wechat and chatted about twice a week. She asked if I could come visit her and her husband one day, but unfortunately our schedules never worked out and my wife wasn't comfortable with just me going anyway.
Then Covid hit and we slowly lost touch with each other. I had my second daughter and was focused on life with my own family. But 9 months ago I decided to reached out to just catch up and found out she had just had a child! I was super happy for her as I know she had been trying hard for a really long time. By that point I was convinced that a chance of an affair with Mei was forever gone.
But in July, Tim, her husband, messaged me on IG asking to meet up. I had been wanting to get to know him at some point so I drove across the Bay to meet him in Mountain View. We had small talk for a bit and then he revealed why he wanted to meet. He asked me if I ever had wanted to have ** with his wife. I was petrified and thought he might try to harm me if I told him the truth, but I, for whatever reason, decided to be honest with him. I told him yes and said all of the times I was physically close to his wife. But what came next I never in a million years could have expected- he said he'd like me to have ** with Mei. He explained that Mei had expressed wanting to sleep with me since I first met her and that he was a bit of a cuckold (his words not mine). He enjoys knowing his wife will be having ** with someone else even though he doesn't want to be present or watch. Mei had turned me down previously because she had second thoughts and was worried she would destroy my marriage. But Tim and I made clear with each other that neither of us is leaving our spouses, but I wanted a secret affair, and he wanted his wife to be ** another guy. I also found out the one time Mei had invited me over was to have ** but I missed that opportunity.
Tim and I scheduled a time for Mei and I to have **. He took his son on a day trip with his mom and my wife thought I was working that day (but I actually had requested the day off). So on July 25th I went over to their apartment at 9am and Mei greeted me at the door in a see-through nighty. We had unprotected ** as I had gotten a vasectomy shortly after my second kid was born and it was incredible. I have only ** two women in my life without a condom and that is my wife and Mei. Mei and I ** off and on for hours that first day before I had to head back home. It was quite honestly some of the best ** I had ever had in my life.
Since then we have had ** at least 5 times a month and even had a full week together at my apartment when my wife took our kids up north to spend time with her parents in Redding. I lied about needing to stay for work, but actually took vacation off for the whole week to spend with Mei. I had never been undressed that long in my life, but neither of us wore clothes that whole week and had the most ** during our affair so far. Our relationship has definitely deepened and I have honestly fallen in love with her. Tim was slightly jealous, but was able to work through it when Mei gave him permission to have ** with his ex whenever he wanted to. I wish I had an open marriage like theirs, but I'm grateful to have Mei and my wife regardless that I have to keep Mei a secret from my wife. I love them both. I consider Mei my legit girlfriend and she considers me her boyfriend. She even introduced me as such to one of her friends who knows she is married. Is it strange and unconventional? Yes. But it is working and Mei and I have still been having regular ** and dates since July. I even have become really good friends with Tim who I'd consider my best friend today! And I can freely and openly talk about ** his wife and he encourages me to share as much detail as possible. I never expected it to work out and it happened a few years after I first approached her, but I am happy.
