A MOMENT WHEN EVERYTHING CHANGED
When I was 17 I was in the back seat of a Civic that was hit broadside by a truck. My friends in the front seat died, I spent a year in and out of hospitals. For several months I was cared for by professional nurses before being sent home to recuperate. My mother had to quit her job because I needed 24 hour care.
The guy who ran the red light got a suspended sentence and a year of social work because it wasn't a DUI. It's unfair on so many levels. My dead friends both 17. Their families. My injuries which have left me with permanent injuries. My mom who lost her job. The bills, insurance only covers so much. My parents had to sell our home.
And this MF is out having fun.
I'm wheelchair bound, I'm 32 now and have been in a wheelchair since I was 17, a rollover crash. I was the passenger and was thrown from the car, he was belted in and walked away with minor injuries. I live alone, I have a life. I work in an office downtown. I take the bus, a bus for wheelchair riders. It's not much of a life but it is a far better life than living with my parents.
I'm sorry you should get a caretaker idk prices but it'll make you and your family in a better spot
