4th of July and NYE fireworks and lost pets
I loved my Pet Rabbit Boo and I tried to keep her safe inside on all days. Recently I read a lot of reports of the large number of pets that go missing on 4th of July and New Year Eve. They report that the fireworks is the reason the pets go missing. I believe this is true but this should be a wake up call to pet owners. The pets that go missing on these two days in regards to fireworks just shows how irresponsible the pet owner has become. How do all these pets cats and dogs go missing. Do they jump over a privacy fence. Do they dig a tunnel under the fence. Do they open an entry door to a home or a gate to a fenced yard. I just don't get it. The landscaper that cut our lawn did not secure our gate properly so when we let our dogs out in the evening one of them figured out that the gate was open and hauled **. The other dogs came inside. When I went out to see where the missing dog was I realized the gate was not secured. We finally found the missing dog later that evening. New rule on the day the landscaper cut the grass I went out to verify the gate was properly secured before the dogs were let out into the backyard. Cat's might be a problem since there are people with cats that are considered outdoor. These cats do not live inside they reside outside. So a cat owner can figure out how to manage this problem. I am a Rabbit R I P owner. When I had my Boo she was inside but I was told by the fireworks gangsters in training "we were directing the fireworks at your front door" What in the world is that I reviewed video from one of the Fireworks holidays and it sure did sound like the fireworks were directed at my front door. It turns out that may not have been the case. I recently studied the sound of fireworks and depending on the type of fireworks some fireworks fired off in another direction can actually sound as though it is exploding in your front or back door. It can even sound as though it was very close to your person if you are standing outside but in fact it is detonating in another direction over 100 FEET AWAY. I could only imagine what it sounds like in a battle field with artillery shells exploding and anti aircraft weapons firing and canon shells etc. A good reminder why I am lucky to live in a country with a powerful Military and be thankful for all the past battles we won putting an end to aggressive war mongers that may have threatened our borders. Am not sure if Saddam Hussein, and Kadaifi and the communist Vietnam, and Milosevic, the South American antagonist, but the Japanese and the ** Germany and winning the cold war the spread of communism were battles well worth the effort by our Military because we destroyed it. Afghanistan I don't know what we did there.
I found Boo and had roasted rabbit leg for my New Year’s Day brunch.
Maybe Boo had PTSD from her service fighting ISIS?
Uh OK uh. Uh
