Wife and I are in an FLR. She spanks and grounds me as punishment
When we first got together, it was obvious right up front she had the more dominant personality. She had been treated badly in past relationships and made it clear from the start that she would be the one in charge if we got together. Once we moved in together, she made a list of rules for me. She assigns me daily chores, controls our bedroom and my releases, has given me a curfew (and set bedtime on weekdays only), etc.... What's more embarrassing than anything is she is totally candid and open about it. All her friends know because she is really close with them and they tell each other everything. Her older sister, too. They all approve and one of them has even started implementing an FLR in her own relationship. What's most embarrassing of all is that MY friends know, too. The reason is that when she grounds me, I have to cancel plans to go hang out with them if I have any or they ask. This wouldn't be so bad, but she hates lying so the rule is I have to tell them truth! If plans are already made, I have to call them and actually tell them I can't make it because I'm grounded and my wife grounded me. She stands there and watches to make sure I'm honest about it, too. Her rule is if I lie and give them another reason, she will spank me afterwards and then call them back herself and tell them I'm grounded. I only made that mistake once.
It is so embarrassing, but at the same time I know it's the way it needs to be. We never argue or fight. I'm kept humble and she has an outlet for her frustrations that all wives get. We've never really been passive aggressive with one another or given each other the silent treatment. Resentment never builds and lines of communication stay constantly open, and things in and around the house get done. We don't fear divorce like a lot of couples may, and we love each other more than ever. Knowing what I know, I would still marry her a million times over and she has said the same is true for her. It's for the best.
I dom my boyfriend too. He must greet me and my female friends wearing lingerie and be our servant. Lol.
