I Teach my Daughter to Kick the Annoying Boys in the **
I'm a mother of a daughter. When I was little, I had a lot of issues with boys bullying me. My mom was a take-no-nonsense kind of mother. She taught me really young that boys have different parts and if they were annoying me I was supposed to kick them as hard as I could. Boys didn't bother me after crying on the floor.
Shocker, little boys are still terrible. My 4 year old daughter has been constantly annoyed by boys in her pre-k. So she got the lesson: "Honey, if a boy bothers you, kick him in his privates as hard as you can. He'll fall down and cry, but I will stand up for you."
The next day, I got a call saying she'd been in a fight: “Your daughter has been in a fight. You need to come pick her up.” I protested that she was just standing up for herself, and that I would not take her from school for such a thing. There was a pause, and the woman then said “It was more than a little shove. We have three little boys writhing around the floor, curled up and crying. Your daughter kneed them each in their privates.”
I audibly laughed. Little boys are little monsters and I’m glad my daughter has no problem dealing with them that way. My daughter now knows the rule: if a boy is bothering you, drop him with a knee between the legs and mom will take care of the rest.
