Incontinent and diapered
I'm incontinent and have just been put into my first proper nappy after struggling with soaked pull ups and missing the toilet on my retraining program for months. I've been resisting for as long as I could and tried so hard to get dry. I'm 16 and have autism. I've never been fully dry but by age 12 I was nearly dry during the day (wore pull ups with long car trips and had a few minor accidents here and there) and by age 14 I was nearly dry at night (light accidents about once a week and only occasional full floods) but gradually started to struggle again. First my bed-wetting became heavier and more frequent and I was put back in GoodNites and then I started feeling overwhelmed with going to the toilet in the day and started leaking. Things progressed from there and we haven't been able to turn it around.
I'm now back in full taped diapers 24/7 & feel relieved. I haven't needed a full nappy in the day since I was 9. I can't believe how often I wet myself. I dribble and flood so sometimes I'm dribbling lots and other times I'm fine then soaked.
