I almost died
I was sitting in a parking lot waiting on someone to show up. I decided to replace the brake booster in my car. I had the part but I did not have the proper extension for my ratchet to reach the bolts for the master cylinder. I used a small wrench to remove the 12mm nuts. I didn't have a line wrench so I could not remove the brake lines so I removed the bolts from the ABS module in order to gain some movement on the two hydraulic lines going to the master cylinder. I was able to move it out of the way. I was unable to remove the throttle cable bracket so I removed the coupling bracket at the end of the brake booster this reduced it by 1 1/2 inch and I was able to pull it out. I had nothing to drink and had not eat all morning. I asked some homeless people for a Gatorade and he gave it to me. I drank it down I proceeded to install the new brake booster but did not remove the bracket that attaches to the brake pedal. I did not want to risk damaging this sensitive diaphrame of the booster. I could not get it in place this throttle cable brake blocked it. I tried to use a wrench on the 10 mm bolts to remove the bracket but it slipped. The wrench looked like the kind that came with a Ikea product that you had to assemble. I have always been an advocate in having the right tools before starting a job. The bolts holding the throttle cables were a bit rusted. I removed the cable but not the bracket and it still would not go. I became frustrated thinking about my tools being recently stolen everything I had was taken including all the tools I had bought over the last two years for doing automotive work. I was suddenly losing my breath and I felt dizzy. I say down inside the car the symptoms began to increase. I went back under the hood and connected the negative terminal back to the battery. I got back in the car and started it. I turned the a/c on but it was not helping I needed water so I put the car in drive and used the parking brake but the car would not move as I had removed the throttle cable from the bracket. I felt a hot fire sensation in my chest unable to take a full breath of oxygen. There was nobody around who could or was willing to help me. I had to turn the steering wheel back and forth knowing that operation of the steering rack would increase the idle. It did but not enough to move the car. I moved the steering wheel with more motion and the car finally began to move with the hood up I was able to point it in the direction of wawa's going up and incline. The pointed the car to an open space between cars and it came to a stop slamming into a yellow post on a spot designated for no parking. I barely stumbled into the wawa's making it to the fountain machine I grabbed a cup and poured water into it and drank it. I filed the cup and then went to the bathroom and sat on the toilet. I started to feel better within 5 minutes. Then a man in a wheel chair needed to use the toilet so I got up and exited the bathroom I explained to the police officer on duty what happened he said don't worry about the parking situation drink water he would pay the 50 cents for the cup. I went back to the car and it took 24 hours before I fully recovered. This was a scary moment. The following day I went back to work and a man came up and asked me what I was doing I told him and I needed a 10mm socket. He went to the parts store and came back with a 10 mm 3/8 drive deep well socket exactly what I needed since I did not have any extensions. I got the booster installed and my brakes have never been so good my foot is still trying to get use to the higher much more sensitive brake pedal. My radiator sprung a leak and I went to the dollar tree and for $1.25 I purchased Prestone cooling system sealant I don't believe in these products. I put it in and it appears to have sealed the leak in the radiator. It may only be temporary but I plan to purchase a new radiator as soon as I have the money.

An RPG landed right next to me and did not detonate. I stared at it as the dust settled. I got away from it as quickly as I could. As I took better cover that RPG went off. 😐
