Vietnamese refugees in Texas
After the Vietnam war around 0000 Vietnamese made a run for it in every boat, plane or whatever method of leaving Vietnam they could. Tailand wouldn't let them in their country and many Vietnamese were robbed, murdered and or ** by Tailandese pirates.
The President of the United Staes ordered the nave to evacuate these people to America the bulk of which ended up in Texas.
They were not welcome but through hard work, good citizenship they at first gained a bit of respect and eventually acceptance. The children went to school learned English and eventually graduated and went to college. Their parents often were uneducated themselves and saw this opportunity to have their children educated a blessing.
They are very popular in Texas now. Intermarriage etc.
They have one character flaw. They hate American blacks. They need to get over that.
