Better for Me

I'm in love with someone and I'm dating someone else. I was in a relationship with the person I loved but I knew it wouldn't go anywhere, so I ended it and I am now seeing someone else, but I don't love this person, I'm only with them because I know it will be better for me.
I still think about the other person all the time and I wish they would call.

  • I've in love with my ex of 10 years ago, and married someone I'm not romantically interested in because I think it's better for me. I always wanted to get married and have kids.. She's not a loving wife. She's young and immature, arrogant, inconsiderate, disrespectful, and she makes me unhappy. But I'm married and blessed enough to have a kid on the way. I'm in my earlier 30s, not old, but feel like I am, and don't want to have kids too late.

How do you put a price on happiness? I'm picky, and if I don't compromise, who knows if I'd ever find Miss Right? So I married Miss Good Enough for right now. This is better for me. Probably.

Just wanted to let you know you're not the only one. If you really think it's better for you, hang in there, it'll get better. If not, move on and keep looking. Only you can know if there's better out there. I believe there is.
