I'm 21 now
About five years ago, I was officially a teen. Back then I thought that at least 70% of the surrounding teenage population was stupid. Not by default, but by choice to just be swept up into every last lame hollywood promo and fad that came across them without even thinking about it. Five years they seem to have come out of it... partly. Maybe it will take another five years for the last of those stragglers. Good luck.
