My best friend is a girl i met in school. im a guy. aat first i really just thought of her as a friend and literally laughed at the thought of us ever being together. then we started spending more and more time together. she is the most beautiful person i havee ever met,, inside and out. i would give up anything for her. that was before. now its even worse because i fell in love with her. she isnt with anyone and isnt crushing on anyone but i still feel jealous when she says something about another guy. i want to marry her and spend the rest of my life with her.

Dude, go for it. The only thing you can do is try, and hope she feels the same way. You're only going to regret it if you don't.
You definitely shouldn't wait to ask her out. I had a friend who I fell in love with and never asked out and they found someone else, I still love them. Believe me, I don't even know how to describe that kind of pain.
