Turned down
I guess most people don't understand how embarrassing it is to tell someone that you love them and be turned down. Well, I've told a girl that I loved her and, she said she loved me back. Come to find out later, she meant as a friend because when I asked her out, she completely turned me down. It made me feel 2 feet tall. You don't just get confidence from thin air and well, this didn't help my confidence.
Being turned down that first time is difficult. but reflect on what she wanted and what you couldn't give her. It wont make you a better man, but you will find yourself accepting what you are. the next time you are rejected, ask her to be brutally honest, and tell her you want to know why you are failing. try not to cry on your way home. after an hour of doing what girls refuse to do for you, accept it and move on. after the 5th or 6th rejection, you will literally ** to accept this. I suggest you keep making offers to better women, until one finds you deserving, or until you become proficient in self love. One day a girl will say yes, and after a week or so of unsatisfactory fun, you may know your hand is mightier than the sword... imagine you saying no to her?
Sometimes when a person tells another person that you love them they might be referring to "as friends"
I agree there are plenty of girls out there and all of us are looking for a sweetheart like you ;)
