um i'm sorry to hear that (maybe it means if something goes awry and she breaks up with him or he breaks up with her you could be the rebound -guys don't have friend zones we have dating and rebound zones-)

Why not try telling him to stop? Tell him how you feel about it and how it makes you feel because it's not fair to you.
