I still love her
When I was a teenager I fell in love with a girl named Chris. She was a few years younger than me, but I was in love. I would hang out with her whenever I could. She had a sister and I'd always volunteer to take them places or pick them up.
I told her once how I felt about her, but she said she wasn't interested in me. We got along wonderfully as friends, but I always wanted more fro the relationship. I eventually moved on and had several girlfriends over the years and finally got married and have three kids.
I still run into her at times and once on Christmas Eve, I ran into her at a store while I had my daughter who was in the 7th grade at the time. When we were finished talking and had walked away, my daughter asked if she was an old girlfriend. I told her no, just a friend and asked her why she wondered that. I could see in the way you were looking at her she was someone special.
I still loved her then and still love her now. I wonder what I'd do if she told me now, more than 30 years later, if I'd leave everything to be with her.
She is still beautiful. The last time I ran into ehr, I wondered how she stayed so young looking.
