If Zoey had a crush on me when she was young, I was completely unaware of it. I actually never saw much of her anyway, since I worked late a lot, and unless she was sleeping over at our house with my daughter and their other friend, I would see her only very rarely. She's much much more eye-catching now than she was then, but maybe I just wasn't paying attention. Your experiences seem very different, so your perspectives on the point are valuable: is it plausible that a young girl could develop feelings for an older guy and hold on to them for 4-5 years or more before acting on them? The possibility seems really remote to me, but what you said made me wonder about it, especially in light of my daughter having said Zoey had plotted this out. And also: have you ever dated any of your daughters' friends? And was it in secret or out in the open?
What has saved me is that,my daughters spent a considerable amount of time in another country and made lots of female friends, while attending fancy all girls schools. Many of them try to be my friends with me, especially of facebook, and I just ignore or send them private messages instead.As a matter of fact,one of them, who has talked to me intermittently much of this year, in boxed me this morning-she has a kid and possibly a baby daddy in her life and was using the term "we".Although I have been propositioned by many of these friendly girls,I have never dated any.This past January, I did have ** with one of the ladies, who attended school with them but was about 2 classes ahead, and is now 27.I must say that the girls who had huge crushes on me about 6 years ago or so are not actively pursuing me anymore-thank God.So the desire does wane over time.
Yeah I hear you. I agree that the one who emailed you is using the "we" presumptively, and that's a tactic I've seen used before, many times: it assumes a relationship - or at least some kind of connection - that doesn't yet exist. Some women, especially the young ones, do that, and I see what yours is working on. And what you said about the desire waning as time goes along is something else that my daughter said to me about Zoey: "You think this is forever; she thinks it's for now." She said that Zoey would be playing around before our first anniversary, and gone before the third. So far, she's been right. But more surprisingly, so have you. Thanks.
A parenthetical.......by the way, our third anniversary is now less than a month away. Although I don't credit my daughter with all that much insight, that coincidence of timing and prediction troubles me more than a little......maybe more than it should.
Just wondering: is the daughter's friend white or black? I'm curious if she meets the criteria to satisfy the long-term fantasy....... I certainly hope she's the right type.
My daughter had told me that the girl has a baby but the daddy left or they were not together anymore. But when I talked to her days ago and asked her whether she was going to her parents ranch for Christmas this year,she said "I cant go and leave my man behind,they don't even count me as one of the family members since I got married". That translated to mean she is with a man or she thinks she is.I must tell you that I intend to see her naked next time I travel there,I did not even know she existed till she contacted me on fb,I told my daughter about it and daughter said she is so nice and sweet but her baby's daddy left her. That peaked my curiosity about her and why she was contacting me for friendship.I am old enough to be her dad. My take on your situation is that though the wife behaves slutty,you like it and don't mind that at all;since you got into it knowing exactly what it was or would be. There is probably no shame in that,some men like getting treated such.I have had ** with plenty of married white women in front of their husbands at their matrimonial homes,my place or hotel rooms.It started when I was in my 20s and it used to freak me out that a man would allow himself or his wife to be done by another man.I got to understand the situations with time and now,I see it as pretty normal really.As long as the wife does not decimate you financially or bring you a bad disease,you will be fine hearing about or guessing what she is up to.If she leaves,you will find another lovely woman and move on with life.Try a black woman next time for variety'sake,lol.
