Having an affair with my soulmate
On Christmas Eve I started a sexual relationship with my best friend. I've known her for five years and we've both been trying since the day we met to keep our hands off each other, because we are both married to different people.
We both love our spouses in their own ways and are happy in our marriages, but our relationship has always been unusually close. It's hard to describe other than we could both swear we've met before and we know each other intimately, but we had never met before.
The last five years we've just gotten closer and closer. Our marriages are happy and healthy, but the connection between us has grown so strong we couldn't say "no" to each other anymore.
