Having an affair with my soulmate

On Christmas Eve I started a sexual relationship with my best friend. I've known her for five years and we've both been trying since the day we met to keep our hands off each other, because we are both married to different people.

We both love our spouses in their own ways and are happy in our marriages, but our relationship has always been unusually close. It's hard to describe other than we could both swear we've met before and we know each other intimately, but we had never met before.

The last five years we've just gotten closer and closer. Our marriages are happy and healthy, but the connection between us has grown so strong we couldn't say "no" to each other anymore.

And yes the s** is amazing, beyond anything either of us had ever experienced before.

  • If you cheat your marriage is not happy. It is like saying you are a vegetarian but only eat hamburgers on Monday. Whatever. My only wish is that your fling and yourselves children find out.

  • It will burn very hot but fizzle fast. You will probably f*** for a year and then get tired of it. That is, if neither of you get caught (which will probably end it). If at Christmas this year you both are really into each other and the s** is still "amazing", then perhaps you should each evaluate your marriages and decide if you want to divorce in order to be together.
