I cheated

I cheated on my amazing boyfriend of 8 months at a party last month.
Only me and the other boy know that we slept together, but his friends just think he tried to kiss me. None of my friends or my boyfriend know, and I'm not planning on telling him.
I know it makes me a bad person, but I'm not losing him over one mistake, when I was too drunk to walk.
I regret it, but that's that.
