Recurring Nightmare

I have mental health issues. I appear ok usually and basically I act ok around people. Its when I'm sleeping the dreams can be horrible.

Many of these nightmares are the same kinds of dreams everybody has from time to time. Getting lost and not being able to find your way home. Not being able to locate your car in a strange place etc.

One of my more disturbing dreams concerns excrement. I'll have to go to the bathroom and excrement is everywhere. On the toilet, on the floor and in the sink on the walls. Everywhere. In other words I can't use the bathroom in my dream.

Yes this seems funny but let me reassure you the dream is as horrible and disgusting as it sounds.

Every night I dread going to bed. What will my subconcious torment me with next?

  • See a psychiatrist for anti-anxiety meds. My sister-in-law used to have a similar problem and the meds took care of it. Don't worry. Everyone has had or will eventually have the bathroom nightmare. I hate those the most.

  • The subconscious mind works faster then the conscious mind, hence knows things before the conscious mind does. Your subconscious mind is trying to tell you a message as you've been having this nightmare several times. Look up dream meanings and see if it applies to your situation and try to fix what needs to be fixed.

For the dream where you are lost and can't find home, your subconscious is telling you that you feel lost in life, without direction.

I would highly suggest looking these up. I have had reoccurring nightmares. I looked them up, applied it to my life and understood why I was getting these nightmares, and they went away.

    Best of luck!
