I want to get addicted to drugs. I'm Embarrassed about smoking

I am 16 and I want to do drugs like cocaine, smack, etc, I want to get that 'high feeling' and I don't care abut the consequences. Tobacco isn't enough I need just anything that is stronger. I want to get addicted.

However my mum caught me smoking and I was just so embarrassed about it, not getting caught but actually smoking. I don't know why. She smokes, her bf smokes, my dad smokes, my sister smokes my uncle smokes. I think you get the picture. I don't know why I am like this.

    • Young man you need a good smacking on your **!

    • My childhood was utter **-- abused and neglected at home, bullied constantly at school, and nobody intervened. Between that and my natural temperament, I should have been a total druggie by junior high.

But I'm stronger than that. I am also stronger than other people whose home lives were also **, but felt the need to take it out on others.

Not that any of that matters to you, because you're at that age where you know everything and also believe you're bulletproof. Just know that I'm not putting up with you or any doomed kids you end up making in your idiocy. Stay out of the way of people stronger than you.

    • Please please DO NOT just "try" smack and meth. Really, any drugs(but weed) for that matter.
I am a recovering addict and i rememver being as young as 10or 11 thinking i wanted to know what it was like to do heroin. I figured if all these peiple are dying and throwing their lives away it must be something worth trying, right?
Well, honestly, i absolutely fuking regret ever trying heroin. Even tho i wasnt physically addicted yet (that came a lil later), after that first time using, i knew i had royally fu[ked up.

Yes, drugs help you escape from a terrible life; but its only temporary. Whatever memories/feelings/whatever you are pushing down and trying to block outwill only be gone for so long.
Then you must deal with those feelings you started using in the first place ON TOP of a raging addiction that, sorry, no matter who you are or how strong you are.. the drugs will always come out on top. Morals and ethics go out the window when the vomiting, sweating, and diarrhea of withdrawal hits you...

So please, if you MUST use drugs, please stick to weed. Most every other drug will just leave you broke, miserable and addicted.
There are fun times.. but they are heavily outweighed by the misery later on. The honeymoon period lasts for a couple months, and the living witg it and clean up lasts for years if not longer.

I mean, i havent used in almost 2 years, and i still think about heroin a couple times a day. Its incredibly terrifying to have something so little and pointless take over your entire existence.

    • Wanting to get high is normal. Loads of people do it. But there also realize that an addiction is not worth it. An addict doesn't enjoy doing drugs, they have to.

Also want till you're older. Drugs are something that are best done after you've had a chance to discover yourself.

    • Whatever you're thinking, don't. You should care, because it will just lead you down a dark road that you may not be able to recover from. I had a friend who I had known since grade school. When we were about to enter high school, she told me she wanted to hang with the kids who were always getting high. I thought she was kidding, but it turned out she wasn't. She used whatever she could and pretty much flunked out of every class. She eventually dropped out in our sophomore year. Her parents tried everything they could to get her into rehab, but she just wouldn't go. They eventually kicked her out because she was stealing from them. Prison, prostitution and pregnancy are all parts of her story. Just really sad..My friend wasted years of her life being wasted. Whatever she would have or could have been are sadly not options now. Choices are really important in life. Everything has consequences.

    • You cannot afford an addiction! Nobody can unless your Keith Richards, or Kurt Cobain. Look what happened to Curt and Layne Staley. Get that stupid idea out of your head!

    • I guess you can fast track your demise
