Stupid Employees
My employees are ** idiots. Somehow they decided they know how run the company better than I do and went with their own ideas, almost destroying everything I worked so hard to build. I feel like firing them all.
The vast majority of business owners I've known have had the attitude of "I *OWN* this place and that's all I need to do."
Others are more touchy-feely types who try to come off as equable to their employees by paying a lot of lip service about being "partners" with them. But these are also the flakiest, most passive-aggressive schoolchildren I've ever had to know.
So, which flavor are you? Power-tripping j3rkass, or passive-aggressive flake?

Just because one owns a business and / or is the boss, dose not mean they are a good leader. You failed as a leader and that is why you almost lost your company.

Either you are the idot because you have not worked out how to make use of their talents and capabilities or you are the idiot because you have not fired them.
I 100% agree with this above comment! Especially regarding not knowing how to "make use of their talents and capabilities." Everyone is different. Bad bosses don't seem to get that. In a car, each part does something different but they work together to keep the vehicle moving. Offset their weaknesses by tapping in to and utilising their strengths, talk to them, not at them, and find out what makes them tick and how they work best.
