Annoying artists
When I was in high school I used to watch videos of a funny guy who had a friend with a cute voice and drew cute blue character who wore an eye patch&mouth mask. I never was too interested in them but I did think it was strange the girl would disappear from time to time since she claimed she didn't like the attention. Eventually this girl decided to make her own video channel where all she does is be very vague of her personality and likes.
This is where I rant. She charges insane prices for her art and doesn't talk to her fans at all. The few times i've seen her talk are for dumb questions, like "are you real?" and she would just say "no" but when someone asks for "whats your favorite XXXX" she just ignores it and acts like she didn't see it.
I've followed her for a year now since I thought she would slowly open up to her fans but she barely talks about her life and claims she has nothing to talk about.
Personally, i wish she would just disappear already since she isn't even gaining much from this and her fans are just bored with her. There's NOTHING to talk about with her since she never shares anything with us.
I seriously thought she was an interesting character but only end up with a stuck up girl who expects big money from doing nothing
I think this shows how you seem to demand attention on a open media format. She doesn't have to talk with you about her art. High prices mean she doesn't do it as a career. It's just something she does and if you REALLY like a piece then pay her price. Compare this with an acrylic painting that took 2 weeks to paint. The 45 hours it took plus materials. At least be ready to pay minimum wage for the time put in. 30$ for a simple sketch can be reasonable. Or 300 if you are a known artist.
This post is revealing - it says much more about you than the target of your rant. You sound very immature and seem to have a number of issues going on. If you don't like the artist, then don't watch her, but I think there's more to it than that for you.
