Business groups are stupid..
I ran into a guy from my former business group at the sports bar last night, saw him come in, and hoped like ** he didn't see me. But he did, and came over to chat. He's still the same, fake smiled, bad jokes, shiny shoes, lying sack of ** he always was, very cheesy. Then, I was checking social media and saw a woman from that same group, who everyone thought was so gorgeous and model/actress, and still thought..She's ugly, has a huge, pipe-looking mouth, huge teeth, and a horse-looking face. I never saw the thing with her supposed gorgeousness. Not once.
Those groups are nothing but high school cliques, networking meetings are basically a night out for people, no real business is discussed, unless the insurance hounds are pushing policies, and nobody really cares what you do for your business or living. It's full **. I knew it back then, and was reminded of it last night. So happy I'm long out of that stuff and don't need to do the meetings, groups, fakeness, or be nice to people I really can't stand. ** the business groups.
I love seeing ex coworkers that were **. Cause they all know started my own biz and that I pocket over 200 grand a year
