You think YOUR Family was mistreated?

I'm sick of African American people treating me like I'm evil for being white. I've been called racist names, and told that "Just because your grandparents owned mine, doesn't mean you own me." Slavery is NOT an excuse for your crappy lifestyle.

Excuse me, let me tell you what I know about slavery and suffering. My grandfather is a holocaust survivor who lost his parents, his brothers and sisters, and his first wife. He spent 3 years of his life starving to death and facing death at every turn, whether it was in the (real) Ghetto or the camps. If anyone knows what racism is, it's me. Next time you try to blame me for your problems, think about who you're talking to.

Barack Obama is president now--anything is possible for African-Americans. I hope that you can realize that great opportunities in front of you, if you're willing to work. Just don't blame me when you don't.

  • Was your grandfather a communist like so many Jews in Eastern Europe were? If so, he and his family got everything they deserved.

  • I wholeheartedly agree. I had to live with this **, too, when I didn't do a ** thing to make the black people at my old place attempt to beat the ** out of me at all hours of the day.

You're entirely right to be **. Good luck saying it to the accusers, though. Likely, with their stupidity, they'll completely ignore you and throw a punch.

  • But if there's no one else to blame, people have to start blaming themselves. And it's entirely un-American to take responsibility.
