I'm a survivor

I turned 76 a few days ago and most of my friends have died. Some looked a lot healthier than I am. I have asthma and they didn't but they died and I survived. It was mostly heart attacks that did them in. Obesity and smoking accounted for a lot of the deaths.

I don't have many years of life left but I am here and they are there. I miss them/.

  • I'm so sorry. :(
You never know when you're going to lose people, or why. I hope you had some good times with them while they were here.
You can't know how many years you have left - you might live to be 100. It's never too late to make friends. I gave up on making friends many times in my life (also due to loss), but it's our nature to form connections. I know it's such obvious advice, but try meeting some new people, maybe through a hobby? They can never replace the friends you lost, but it might give you joy. Wish you the best.

  • I have one regret that I never gave my old mother in law our real play day or as we both agreed home alone time . She left me but not before we shared our many thoughts on modern life . I always told tap I enjoyed old styles , manners and all natural women I slay said our chats and views were a two way street . She finally acknowledged that I was watching her and I said we share . I even helped her off the floor as I made sure she felt my hard parts . I’m Lino since we lost her
