Was never supposed to move.
From the early 90's up until 2019 my dad rented a house that me, my two older siblings and my parents lived in. Eventually it was just me and my parents as my siblings have house's of their own now. One day, back in 2019, me and my parents were coming back from the mall. When my dad got out of the car, our neighbor T was surprised to see us. Apparently, T had been told that we were being evicted because the landlord wanted to sell the house to another family member. Rather then fighting the eviction or asking the landlord about it, my dad simply found another house in another small area. For the longest time we hated our landlord for, what we thought at the time, throwing us out of the house we've lived in for so long. Today, when my dad got back from wherever he went, what he said shocked me. My dad happened to see the landlord's wife and she told my dad that her or her husband never wanted us to leave. The only person that they wanted gone was T herself but not us. Sadly, we can't go back to the house we lived in because of remodeling that was done had caused the rent to increase. And to think we not only hated our landlord for no reason but, we would still be living in our old neighborhood if T hadn't lied or if my dad had contacted the landlord.
So many regrets
